JAKUB SŁODKIEWICZ
I am a media producer and a graduate of Goldsmiths University based in Warsaw & London.
Mostly focused on taking photos of people and transforming human physics into art. Experienced
in graphic design, podcasting, audio/visual postproduction & video making.
My approach to photography is equal to the way I approach everything else - authentically.
What I aim to communicate through my art is to present people the way they exist in my head. I normally refuse to take photos of models as my photos are the collection of people I was lucky enough to meet. Documenting situations, communities and people with my eyes and then compressing them through the lens of my camera is my favourite hobby I’ve come up with so far.
Outside of photography, I do also have a podcast (available in Polish only) focused on media and popculture. Additionally, I independently work in sectors such as social media, digital media, marketing, PR, advertising, and editorial.
